Training options

Face-to-face, virtual, in-house, open-hosted and custom formats.

Yes. Face-to-face training remains one of Staff Training's most popular delivery methods. Organisations can choose to attend open-hosted workshops at one of our training venues or arrange an in-house workshop at their own premises.

Our face-to-face workshops are designed to be engaging and interactive, giving delegates the opportunity to participate in discussions, activities and real workplace scenarios that reinforce learning.

Many organisations choose face-to-face training because it encourages collaboration, allows delegates to learn from one another and provides valuable opportunities to ask questions and receive immediate feedback from experienced facilitators.

Yes. Staff Training offers live virtual facilitator-led workshops that allow delegates to participate from anywhere while still benefiting from an engaging and interactive learning experience.

Virtual training provides an excellent solution for organisations with remote teams, multiple branches or employees who cannot travel to a training venue. Delegates are able to interact with the facilitator, participate in discussions and complete learning activities in real time.

A wide range of Staff Training's workshops are available virtually, giving organisations the flexibility to develop their people without compromising on learning quality. Virtual training can also form part of a customised hybrid learning solution that combines online and face-to-face training where appropriate.

Yes. Staff Training offers in-house corporate training at your premises anywhere in South Africa. This allows your employees to receive interactive workplace training that equips them with skills they can apply immediately in their roles, all in a familiar environment, reducing travel time and minimising disruption to your business operations.

One of our experienced facilitators will travel to your offices to present the workshop, and the training can be customised to address your organisation's specific challenges, industry requirements and learning objectives. Before the workshop takes place, our content developers can work with you to tailor the course content so that it is relevant to your team and your business.

For the best learning experience, we recommend providing a quiet training area with minimal interruptions, suitable seating, a whiteboard or flip chart, presentation equipment and refreshments for delegates. If your premises are not suitable, Staff Training can also arrange one of our training venues for your in-house workshop.

Yes. Staff Training offers open-hosted workshops at training venues across South Africa, making it easy for organisations and individual delegates to access high-quality workplace training close to home.

We currently host workshops in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and Polokwane. We also make use of satellite training centres in selected areas when required.

Our flexible training options allow organisations to select the format that best suits their people, location and operational requirements.

An open-hosted workshop is a scheduled training course that individuals from different organisations attend together at one of Staff Training's training venues. Unlike in-house training, which is delivered exclusively for one organisation, open-hosted workshops allow delegates from multiple companies to participate in the same interactive learning experience.

Open-hosted workshops are ideal for organisations that only need to train one or two employees, or for individuals who would like to attend a professional workplace training course without arranging a private session. Delegates benefit from sharing ideas, experiences and best practices with professionals from a variety of industries, creating a rich and engaging learning environment.

A satellite training centre is an additional venue that Staff Training uses in selected locations when there is sufficient demand for a workshop outside our primary training centres.

While our regular open-hosted workshops are held in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and Polokwane, satellite training centres allow us to offer training in other areas when required. This gives organisations and individual delegates greater access to our workshops without the need to travel long distances.

If you're interested in attending training in a location not listed on our website, please contact us. We'll be happy to advise whether a satellite training centre is available or discuss alternative training options, including in-house or virtual training.

Absolutely. Staff Training understands that every organisation faces different challenges, so many of our workshops can be customised to meet your specific business needs, industry requirements and learning objectives.

Rather than delivering generic training, our content designers work with you to understand your team's challenges before the training takes place. Together, we can adapt the workshop content, examples and activities to make the learning more relevant and immediately applicable in your workplace.

Yes. Short courses are the core of Staff Training's offering. We specialise in interactive, instructor-led workplace training delivered as 1-day, 2-day and 3-day workshops, giving organisations flexible solutions that minimise time away from the workplace while delivering meaningful skills development.

Our short courses cover a wide range of professional and workplace topics, including leadership development, communication skills, customer service, personal effectiveness, management, sales, emotional intelligence and many more.

For organisations with limited time available, we also offer shorter Power Sessions and Focus Talks in one-hour, two-hour and three-hour formats. If you're looking for a more comprehensive development journey, we also provide longer learning solutions, including Leadership Development Programmes and coaching options.

Yes. If a full-day workshop doesn't suit your operational requirements, Staff Training offers shorter learning options that can be delivered over the course of a morning.

Our Power Sessions and Focus Talks are designed to provide interactive, high-impact learning in a condensed format. These sessions are available in one-hour, two-hour and three-hour options.

Yes. While Staff Training works with organisations throughout South Africa, our facilitators also travel across Southern Africa to deliver in-house corporate training.

Our team has experience presenting workshops nationally as well as in neighbouring countries, including Mauritius. If your organisation has offices outside South Africa, please contact us to discuss your location and training requirements.

Our online courses are an effective solution for organisations with employees working across different locations, individuals who require flexible learning schedules, or businesses looking to complement instructor-led training with self-paced learning.

Choosing the right course starts with identifying the skills you want to develop, the challenges your employees are facing and the outcomes you would like to achieve.

If your organisation has unique learning requirements, we can also discuss customised training solutions designed around your specific objectives.

Yes. Staff Training offers Leadership Development Programmes for organisations across a wide range of industries.

While effective leadership principles apply across all sectors, every organisation operates within its own environment and faces unique challenges. For this reason, leadership development programmes can be customised to align with your organisation's learning objectives, workplace context and desired outcomes.

Yes. Staff Training offers coaching solutions that complement workplace learning and support ongoing professional development.

Our coaching services include LevelUp Coaching and PowerPath Coaching, providing organisations with additional development opportunities that can be incorporated into a broader learning and development strategy.

Bookings and logistics

Quotes, minimum numbers, how to book, payment and finish times.

Yes. Staff Training will gladly provide a quotation before you confirm your booking.

To prepare an accurate quotation, we'll ask for information such as whether you're booking as an individual or on behalf of an organisation, the workshop or programme you're interested in, the city where you'd like to attend training or the location for in-house training, the number of delegates, and whether you require accredited or non-accredited training where applicable.

The minimum number of delegates required to attend one of Staff Training's open-hosted workshops is one.

Individuals are welcome to attend our scheduled workshops, making this an ideal option for organisations that only need to train one or a few employees.

If you are booking customised in-house training, our consultants will discuss the most appropriate solution based on your training objectives, preferred delivery method and the number of employees requiring training.

Many organisations need to balance employee development with the day-to-day demands of running their business.

Staff Training offers flexible training solutions that help minimise disruption to your operations. Where appropriate, larger groups can be divided into multiple training sessions, with a maximum of 15 delegates per session, allowing employees to attend training while others remain at work.

Depending on your organisation's requirements, training can also be delivered at your premises, virtually or through our scheduled open-hosted workshops.

Yes. Once your training has been scheduled, we can arrange for the facilitator to contact you to discuss your organisation's specific requirements.

This provides an opportunity to share your learning objectives, workplace challenges and any information that will help ensure the training is relevant to your employees.

Booking training with Staff Training is simple.

To make a booking, please contact our team by email with the information needed to prepare your booking. This typically includes your contact details or company information, the workshop or programme you wish to attend, the city where you would like to attend training or the location for in-house training, the number of delegates and, where applicable, whether you require accredited or non-accredited training.

Alternatively, you can visit our website, select your chosen workshop and book online directly for the next available date in your preferred city.

Staff Training offers a number of convenient payment options, depending on how you choose to book your training.

For online bookings made through the Staff Training website, secure online payment is available via Payfast, allowing you to complete your booking using one of the supported payment methods.

For organisations booking training directly through our consultants, our standard payment terms are 21 days before the commencement of the workshop or within 7 days of placing the order, whichever comes first.

If your organisation has a specific finishing time requirement, please let your consultant know when making your booking.

Your scheduling requirements can be discussed during the planning process and communicated to the facilitator in advance. Staff Training will always endeavour to accommodate reasonable operational requirements while ensuring delegates receive a valuable and complete learning experience.
