Why train in 2010?

https://www.stafftraining.co.za/blog/why-train-in-2010

Why would a company go through the expense of training their staff?

There are three main reasons for embarking on a skills development programme

a) To comply with legal requirements. Legal requirements are often industry specific, for example health and safety imperatives in the construction industry. Further to that we have specific requirements regarding BEE, financial regulations and corporate governance
b) For business reasons. To develop the skills of your employees and improve their performance makes good business sense, but training and investment into people is also a form of staff retention and in times of skills shortage, retaining well skilled staff certainly makes financial sense.
c) For moral reasons. You do it because it feels good and it creates goodwill all around.

The outcome of soft skills training is often not only improved work performance, but often it changes lives. Take the time now to download our training needs analysis flow chart and see how you can help yourself and/or others.
