But first, a little background on the summit:
The 2015 Living Leadership Summit, to be hosted at Hathersage House in Somerset West between the 8th and 11th of September, as the name suggests, focuses on two aspects: Leadership and Life. The summit has been structured in such a way as to draw a metaphorical line down the two of these (although they are indeed intertwined) and split the summit into two two-day conferences.
Days One and Two
The first of these two-day conferences will feature nine expert speakers (a little more on these in a moment), networking opportunities, assisted business meetings and panel discussions.
Our speakers range in age from Millenials to Baby Boomers and come from Academic, Health, Government and Private Enterprise backgrounds. The focus of their talks will address the core points identified by the 2014/2015 DDI Ready-Now Leaders Report - a report which polled 13 124 Leaders in 2 031 Organisations and is based on the questions: "What Now?" (the current state of affairs), "So What?" (what will happen if nothing is done about the current state), and "Now What?" (what action leaders can take to ensure their effectiveness and relevance).
Speakers:
Our speakers include Steuart Pennington, founder of SAGoodNews.co.za and co-editor of ten books in South Africa, Lindy Wilson, Deputy Shadow Minister of Social Development and Limpopo Provincial Chairperson of the DA, Stacy Shelton, recently published in the Industrial Psychology Magazine, and Dr Will Bolus, a chiropractor, disciplined athlete and accomplished speaker.
The agenda for the first two-day conference will address Modern Leadership in Africa, VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity) Readiness, HR and Rewards (both intrinsic as well as extrinsic rewards), Wellness and Health, Millenials in the Workplace, as well as Social Media and Mobile Markets.
Days Three and Four
The second two-day conference will focus on what is arguably the world's leading Personality Typing and Reporting Tool, the Enneagram, as well as bring in a wellness aspect. Attendees at this portion of the summit will be required to complete a questionnaire prior to attending the conference, after which they will receive a professional individual report, highlighting their preferred personality style.
This report will form the basis of these two days. Delegates will be taken through the nine "lenses" of the Enneagram, making personal discoveries along the way and shedding light on their core motivations and fears - which drive our behaviour.
Through gaining a more in-depth understanding of ourselves and others we improve our intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships, our communication style becomes more adaptive and as a result of all this we see improved productivity, decreased absenteeism and staff turnover, improved team morale…

Pricing and Structure
As mentioned before the Summit has been structured into two two-day conferences.
For maximum benefit we would recommend attending the full four-day summit, however, we are aware that many of South Africa's leaders find it increasingly difficult to spend four days away from the office.
It is for this reason that we have separated the conferences, allowing you to attend either the first conference, which focuses on the current state of affairs of leadership in Africa and where we ought to be going, or the second, which brings the Enneagram into focus and opens the door to self-mastery and discovery.
Tickets for the Summit range from R5 500 to R11 000 per delegate, with discounts for bulk bookings. Click here for Registration Options.
Registrations close on August 28, so be sure to secure your seat today. Limited seats available.
